My late great brother Mike Church and I recorded this album in a sweaty sound-proofed bedroom in my old house in 2001. He played the drums and I played everything else. These songs and the spirit of these sessions gave me the feeling that this was the first good, cohesive album I'd ever made when we did it. I still feel that way. A rock magazine called Amplifier referred to the album as "a rare thrill in this digitized age" in their short but positive review. All I know is that it was the best we could do on 7 working tracks of a Tascam 8 track reel tape machine with only one good microphone. :) Good times, fond memories of working with Mike here, just the two of us. I may have gone a bit heavy on the found sounds and samples, but I still like every song on this album. Thanks for listening. ❤
